I came to realize that, we all joined uni and college with very different perspectives altogether, some did so out of curiosity, their mentality being, "Let me see what this fuss about uni and college life is all about." and some were forced by guardians and relatives but they really didn't want to, some went just so they could be like their peers, others used that opportunity to search for freedom out of their home, and finally others went so that they can pursue their dream careers ( I'm gonna be honest this last group always amazes me.) I'm out of school now what? Now that we know why most of us went to uni and college, can we agree that most of us didn't get a clear picture of what life out of school really looks like? Photo by pexels.com Ever been so busy doing a lot of nothing? Okay, let's be honest... Even during supposed “Alone time,” we're consuming so much content that we forget what stillness feels like. Seriously, no wonder our minds are tired even before the day starts. There is little to no balance at all, either with school, career, or relationships. Listen, if you find yourself taking up tasks or responsibilities, you call this "burning the midnight oil" just so you can seem busy, to the point where you feel guilty for taking some time off to meditate or even rest. And after all that hustle, you end up feeling burnt out, unfulfilled, and even getting sick. Then definitely you're busy doing a lot of nothing! But you know what the funny thing is? It might be the creation of wealth, Financial freedom, excellent health, a stable family, fitness, them abs and glutes, great hair, traveling the world, a great career, or even a loving relationship that just feels right.
